Velvet in the evening

Tonight’s trip to the lake began as a fishing excursion but ended in a full on photo shoot. The following photos, taken in Lake Scott State Park, are the result of my wandering off the beaten path a bit. As the title implies, the whitetail bucks in these photos are sporting full velvet.
